Applications of BBa_K1847014

Uppsala 2020 team

This promoter was cloned using the Type IIS standard assembly (RFC1000) with the coding sequence of Juniper GFP, Type IIS adapted RBS BBa_K3425033 and terminator forming the composite part BBa_K3425057. Cultures were induced by IPTG the fluorescence was observed after the overnight incubation Figure 1.

Five eppendorf tubes with pelleted cultures. The pellets of the third and fourth tube are shining compared to the others.

Figure 1 | E. coli DH5α cells were induced by IPTG and after approximately 18 hrs, the fluorescence was observed. Compared to the controls with T7M5 promoter (two tubes on the left) and LB media (one tube on the very right) pelleted cells carrying the BBa_K3425057 are clearly fluorescent.
